It's a huge relief that I'm off work this Saturday, so I can hang out till late tomorrow, without having to worry about getting up early to get to work the following day.
Coming to think of it, working on Saturdays isn't that bad. It's known that usually at work, time passes like flash. And on Saturdays, it's about just being at the office for 4 hours. No one actually works. Everyone will be dressed casually and utilising the time in the office to plan how they wanna pass their weekends.
For my friends and myself, our day commences only in the evening. But whenever I'm working on Saturdays, they are forced to wake up earlier. So it benefits everyone actually. We actually have a longer day to spend, and have alot more to do. Now, this is what you call a positive outlook towards work. See how I make positive out of negative? :P
I planned to send my phone for repair today but I forgot to bring my warranty card. Dyamn! Most probably I'll be heading down to Bishan on Saturday to get this done. It's annoying to sms anyone from my phone now, I can't see a few words due to the cracks in the LCD screen. I also was forced to change my wallpaper and my screensaver. It was nice & serene to have my beloved looking at me from the wallpaper. I looked at the wallpaper each time I felt down or missed him. The cracks made it look so freaky, that I changed my wallpaper to a pic of an ice-cream.
I just think W910i is a very fragile and sensitive phone model and I'm thinking of changing my hp now. It's so flimsy and though it has a 2GB memory storage, the phone gets so laggy. More stuff you put it, everything becomes slow. I type smses and I only see it appearing on the screen a few seconds after. It seems like the words are trying hard to catch up with my fingers.
It's going to be a year since my dad passed away. We'd be doing this one year prayers for him so I headed down to Tekka with my mum and sis to get some essentials for the prayers. We tried to locate the Tekka Market stalls which apparently shifted to Race Course Road by we got lost instead. We could have searched a little more but we were getting tired by then. Mum also couldn't walk much 'cos her knee problems are acting up again. So we decided to shop with the Shopper's Parasites Paradise to grab a few household items. (Mustafa Centre.) I almost died, cos of the people I had to bear with. Shoppers and the sales staff. Customer service there is really haywire. (As known) There was an old man serving a Chinese National. The Chinese guy was asking if he could see his new alarm clock would work and this old service staff says 'Hey can wait or not? I not showing magic stunts!'. And he slowly started fixing the clock with a pout. What admirable customer service. Lol.
Their policy is simple - Take it or leave it. They're not running a loss without your support anyway. :)
We chanced upoun the Guess collection and saw that they had quite a variety of Guess watches. So we asked mum to choose one for herself. It was nice to see her smile after receiving it as an 'advanced' gift for Mother's Day. We headed back home shortly after that. Price wise, yeah it's good shopping at Mustafa Centre.. Otherwise, you have to have a high tolerance level for all sortsa people.
Have to do a planning for Mother's Day. She sure deserves that much.
