Bleagh..

It's a Sunday evening and it's drizzling outside. A perfect weather to sleep, but I have been sleeping almost all day, so I'm gonna be idling around for a while.

Oh well, finally caught Dasaavatharam yesterday. (I always can't pronounce this title without visualising the words and breaking them up.) It was a mid-night movie so we got to watch two movies for the price of one.

I heard many negative reviews about Dasaavathaaram, so I should say it was greater then what I had expected. The movie had me on the edge of the seat in the beginning but became a little draggy later on. And to justify the ten roles of Kamal Hassan in the movie, they had to bring in many more unnecessary characters which made the movie a little more complicated.

I liked the ultimate logic in the movie, 'Everythings happens for a reason.' But I don't think friends & family of victims of the Tsunami would reckon that the disaster happened cos of some lame-ass virus. It was good that they brought in some science in the movie. Perhaps they could have excluded the amount of politics and the affiliate of the real natural disaster. Well, this is just my opinion.

The second movie was a killer, literally. KURUVI. I couldn't sit in the theatre for more then an hour that I left halfway. The introduction itself was a flop. Well, what can we expect from Vijay. He and his masala crap. Tamilian movie makers should sit down and do some serious thinking on how to improvise their predictable story lines before we all start to quit tamil movies for good.

I'm missing him already.
