Bleagh..

I can smell the weekend. Time flies la. I feel as if the week just started but it's already Friday. Although the nearing of the weekend excites me, I know the weekend will fly even faster and soon I will be whining about my Monday blues again.

As days are running, I'm beginning to have butterflies in my tummy thinking of my birthday celebrations.

The thought of struggling up and down the stairway with my heels is enough. I just hope I don't fall flat on my face infront of everyone. I better start practicing my walks and all due to my clumsy nature. Haha.

Its pretty strange. Suddenly out of the blue my long lost friends are coming back to the picture. Its good though. I can have a grand reunion at my birthday. I've been MIA (Missing in action) in many peoples' lives for quite some time. I think its time I pounce back into action!

I'm quite pleased with my workplace as I'm getting the hang of everything. I'm glad that I can meet the deadlines on time and still cope on other areas. Oh ya, I saw Christopher Lee on Monday. He was filming in the cafeteria in my workplace. It was a strange sight seeing all the equipment used for shootings in the canteen.

It was really weird seeing him wearing Keppel's boiler suit. I could not even concentrate on having my lunch. I was practically gawking at him anxiously waiting for him to unfold his acting talents. Waiting and waiting.. But he was just sitting down. I assumed that the crew was waiting for the crowd to diminish but hell! Its freaking lunchtime, hello? I mean, they could have chosen to come earlier or after lunch if they wanted to avoid the crowd! I thought that they chose to come during lunchtime on purpose so that the crowd and the sight of people eating will make the scene look realistic.

Finally, the crew decided to take a scene. Just one scene. You know how long they took for that one scene? More then 10 minutes. And suddenly, they decided to put it to a stall and continue later.

The scene: The Heroine of the show (I don't know what her name is, I think she's pretty new) walking over to Christopher Lee's table with her food. In this scene she tries to look pissed off and all and sits down and starts her conversation with Christopher. The reason why they decided to stop the shooting and continue later was because during the multiple takes of this scene, people just kept walking pass the camera and the crew.

Erm.. The people were not actually to be blamed. They were a few Nigerians who came down to my company for some training. Most probably they did not even know that those were local stars. They might have thought it was some other 'kuching kurab' video shooting. Perhaps to publicize the cafeteria or something.

But anyways, this shooting is for a new serial which they will be telecasting in February if I'm not mistaken. The title is 'The Peak' and basically the whole story has to do with the Marine Industry. Apparently Christopher Lee is playing the role of someone who is working at Keppel Fels. (My company's subsidiary)

I attempted to take a few pictures so that I can publish it in this entry but sadly, I only managed to take a shot of his back. (I'm trying to be polite here.) I thought it was good enough as his blonde hair could be easily recognisable but then my friend of mine had to delete it. Haiz.

So when the show is screening, I can look at the TV and say.. "Hey I was there!!!"
