*Burp*

I just had my lunch. The cook in my workplace is on a leave for a month and we're depending on ta-pau (take-away) items. So the delivery guys in my company buy food for us from outside. Now, before you all can start whining about how lucky I am for being able to get my lunch without stepping out of my office, please take note that this is not as good as it seems.

Since our entire company is dependant on these drivers, we are only allowed to choose from a small Menu which compromises of Chicken Rice, Duck Rice, Vegetarian Rice/ Bee hoon, Malay Food (Which has been taken off the Menu cos the shop's always crowded.) Anything else you want, you'll be greeted by piercing stares from the drivers.

I had been rotating my lunch menu from Malay Rice and Vegetarian Rice and now, I'm deprived of Malay food.

So today, I had vegetarian food. Oh, we also can't choose the items in the food. So I opened the package and saw many version of greens in it.

'What else were you expecting from a packet of vegetarian food?' you may ask.

Well, I was hoping to find those vegetarian version of char siew or fish. Oh.. Then I noticed something which wasn't green. I was happy for a while, but my happiness didn't last too long. When I looked closer, I saw bittergourd! Yes, my rival enemy since young. BITTERGOURD!

I tried my level best to force in two slices of bittergourd but I really couldn't. Didn't enjoy my lunch today either, as usual. Another 21 excruciating days before the cook returns.

I'm suddenly missing her so much.
