Today I had a marvelous journey on the way to work in the MRT. The train today was unexeptionally crowded leaving me to stand beside this amorous couple and their actions were annoying me to the every bit. Let me explain.
I'm not the kind of average Singaporean who cringes at the sight of a couple getting mushy in public. I'm okay with that, as long as it doesn't affect me in any way/s. While on a crowded journey in the train, it's norm for many couples to use this opportunity to cuddle together. So far, so good. But this couple were going far more then that. I don't exactly know how or what they were doing, as I didn't want to irk my stomach in the morning by looking for details. The annoying part was when they kept stepping on my feet and swinging their hands around. (nudging my arm in the process.) Adding on to my morning 'madness', I really felt like telling them off to go find a hotel for their romp or something. Can't people be a little more sensitive to their surroundings? Don't give me the 'Love is blind' crap.. I'll slap the shit of anyone who does this infront of my kid in future. Gruff.
I finally found shoes of the perfect fit for me, yesterday. Thanks to Vio and Dharshi. I don't know why, but God decided to bestow me long skinny feet which made it so difficult for me to buy any covered shoe. It doesn't help that most Singaporeans are of petite built and because of that, people like me are left with no choice but to wander around with sandals. I have met ladies who are taller then me by 0.1 metres but even they have smaller feet then me. Even my hands are long, including my fingers. Somehow, my body structure tells me that my height is not supposed to be 1.68m. I think I was supposed to have grown up to about a healthy 1.8m, but have not grown due to some calcium deficiency. BUT thank god, I am not any taller then I am. If not I would had trouble finding a soulmate for myself. Lol..
This Saturday's is something I am looking for. Shiveesh's 2nd birthday party. It would definitely be a break from work and a chance to meet up with all my cousins.
Exactly a year before, I left to Kim Keat a day earlier to help out with the celebrations of this boy's first birthday and since one of my hi-bye online friend was staying nearby, I decided to initiate a 2 min meet with him. And he agreed... And that's when I met Ragu for the first time. :) And everything fell in place after that.. A sweet reminisce of the whole journey leaves me with a big grin. It surprises me to think on how far we've had this going, and I can't wait to get all settled down. (Atleast then I won't have to deprive myself of seeing him once a week.) Haha.
P.S. Thalae aka Sam-boh Prata, Please update your blog before I sell it to the karanguni man.
